At the heart of the Keller Williams culture in action is KW Cares a public charity created by associates in order to reach out to and support each other during times of extreme and unexpected hardship. Market centers throughout North America heartily support KW Cares, and at the same time, devote themselves to making a difference in their local communities through a wide range of activities.
On May 14, 2009, Keller Williams Realty’s first annual RED (Renew Energize Donate) Daymarked the largest single event ever undertaken by a real estate company. More than 22,000 associates throughout the United States and Canada launched a coordinated effort to improve their local communities. As they painted, planted, pruned, mowed, cleaned up and collected, the Keller Williams difference shined through.
